Based on its similar Star Trek franchise, FASA published a Doctor Who role-playing game in 1985. Written by William John Wheeler and Guy McLimore, the game allowed players to work as field agents for the Celestial Intervention Agency, presenting its own chronology and making flawed assumptions about the monsters and characters of the Doctor Who Universe.


Republished in 1986, the game was supported by a number of supplementary products and two gamebooks.
