Welcome to the Newapocrypha Community Page.

Hosted Chats

Every now and again we hope to be holding hosted chats which revolve around a particular theme or topic. These will be hosted by one of the Newapocrypha Team, and details are given on our chat page.

Community Membership

There are three levels of membership in the Newapocrypha community. These are defined as follows:

Moderators are either the owners of online resources linked to or mirrored on this site, or else they are the managers of Newapocrypha projects.

Writers are members who have been given permission to create and edit content on the site. All writers are members of the Newapocrypha forum.

Members are registered users of the site as defined by the wetpaint rules.

Sister Sites

Newapocrypha is affiliated with a number of sister sites. These sister sites all manage projects which attempt to catalogue the fictional aspects of Doctor Who, or at least parts of it.

Whilst most projects are exclusively concerned with Doctor Who and its spinoffs, projects sometimes have a much wider remit. Projects are happy to share their research with each other in order to build up a more comprehensive guide to this universe.

Here's the current list of sister sites, along with links to their sites
  • International Hero - a site about superhero characters from outside the USA, which includes extensive coverage of Doctor Who characters.
  • Newapocrypha - the Yahoo group from which this site was spawned.
  • Rassilon, Omega, and that Other Guy - Will B Swift's comprehensive guide to Gallifrey
  • Whonconcord - a Yahoo group that aims to produce print encyclopedias.
  • Whoniverse - an extensive guide to all aspects of the universe of Doctor Who and its various spin-offs in various media

If you have an online project that you think qualifies to be a sister project, then contact Metabaron here, Stephen Gray at Whoniverse, or Alexander Dante at Whoconcord to discuss the issue.

Community Blogs

Some members of the Newapocrypha community have chosen the site to host their Doctor Who blogs. These are as follows:
