There's not been much activity on the site from me in the last few weeks, and there certainly won't be much between now and the end of November. There are several reasons for this:
- The editing of Shelf Life, the Craig Hinton fan anthology, is drawing to a close;
- I've been focusing on a new role-plating game, Don't Panic!, based on The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy;
- I'll be writing a NaNoWriMo entry, The Monochromatic Man, throughout the month of November.
In the mean time, Newapocrypha has necessarily plummetted in the wetpaint site rankings. It's a pity, but it's only temporary. I'm sure we'll turn it around over Christmas and the New Year.
In the mean time, we have the Sarah Jane Adventures and November 10th's Children in Need special, Time Crash, to look forward to. Written by Stephen Moffat, it's sadly now referred to only as a scene rather than as a story, which suggests only 5-10 minutes of air-time. With released pictures showing the older Davison in costume sans wig, there's clearly no attempt being made to make him look younger, so I expect continuity forums to be rife with speculation immediately afterwards.
As its a continuity conundrum Craig Hinton would have relished, I may put something in Shelf Life.
Anyway, my treat of the month is a link to 3 Doctors appearing in 1985's Children in Need:
