Adeki is a planet which first appeared in the Doctor Who magazine comic strip
Planet of the Dead.

Location

Adeki lies in a sector of space where the most savage battles of the Shaper Wars once took place.

Inhabitants

The peaceful subterranean Adeki civilization was destroyed following the arrival of the Gwanzulum during the Shaper Wars. As the planet's sole inhabitants the Gwanzulum laid traps for visitors in an attempt to escape the planet and return home.

History

The peaceful Adeki evolved to an underground civiliation which was, as a result of the Shaper Wars, drained of all life energy, turned the planet into a dead huskwhich took decades to recover. Having made the native Adeki extinct, shapeshifting Gwanzulum war veterans are known to have eked out an existence for a number of years.

Environment

A beautiful world renowned as an excellent location for fishing. It is dotted with a few archaeological ruins from the lost subterranean Adeki civilisation.

Notes

• The Shaper Wars involved a number of shapeshifting races including the Whifferdills and the Gwanzulum.
