Location

At the beginning of the 32nd century A-Lux was known to be situated outside, but within reach of, the Galactic Federation.

Inhabitants

A-Lux is a cosmopolitan world occupied by many races. It may be home to a race known a the dreilyn.

History

A-Lux was a well known pleasure planet renowned for its many leiure facilities which include anti-gravitariums, games rooms, imported lawns, lakes, and sub-aqua tennis courts.

It was briefly turned into a snowy wasteland by the Ice Warriors at the beginning of the 32nd century.

Environment

Beautiful world artificially maintained by an orbital atellite grid which, amongt other features, controls its weather. The planet may, originally, have been an arctic wasteland.

Notes

  • The Doctor thwarted an Ice Warrior attempt to freeze it and turn into a new Mars (this must have been after the formation of the Federation but before New Mars becomes one of the 3 founder homeworlds of the Federation).
  • Home to Olla the dreilyn
  • Frobisher left the seventh Doctor here.
  • It is 300 (light?) years from the nearest tailor.
